A stunning very large Victorian Mason's Ironstone/Ashworths Soup bowl, finished in delicate pink with a willow pattern design to the centre, and red design to the rim. The plate does have 3 small old chips to the rim, and some staining to the centre which is reflected in the price, as in perfect condition, this piece would be £55.00, but it is so wonderfully decorative and unusual we decided to include it, largely because of the fine backstamp, which is quite a rare backstamp to be found on Mason's/Asworths china, it also benefits from having Ashworths Real Ironstone china impressed to the base, a wonderful piece of Mason's Ironstone progressive history.
